A Partner of Spreading Seeds is a Corporation who donates to support our endeavors in our community.

WAYS TO PARTICIPATE AS A PARTNER

The following are the various ways a Partner can participate in support of Spreading Seeds community endeavors:

Surplus Food

By redirecting unspoiled food from the landfill to Spreading Seeds, corporations can support our neighbors in need within their local communities and reduce environmental impact. Non-perishable and unspoiled perishable food can be donated. Donated food can also include leftovers from events and surplus food inventory.

We Rescue Surplus Food From: Farms, Restaurants, Grocery Stores & Other Retailers, Food Service Providers, Packing & Distribution Centers, Farmers’ Markets, Events

Types of Food We Rescue: Fresh Vegetables, Prepared Vegetables (hot or cold), Baked Goods, Fresh Fruit, Prepared Fruit (hot or cold), Canned & Boxed Goods, Frozen Meat, Cooked Meat, All Foods (raw or prepared)

Donation Requirements: Must be sealed and Donors must have food handling/safety certification.

Corporate Alliance

The following are ways to Partner through Corporate Alliance:

Single Donation

Company/Corporation single donation applies towards Spreading Seeds community endeavors.

Pledges

Company/Corporation pledges to donate quarterly towards Spreading Seeds community endeavors.

New World Partner – $1,000 Quarterly
Shining Star Partner – $500 Quarterly
Down to Earth Partner – $250 Quarterly

Event Sponsorship

Spreading Seeds provides community events.

We provide a “Fun Day Event” for persons and their families experiencing overwhelming hardships. We asked our resources, such as a job recruiter, to set up a table and provide helpful information.

We also provide events that are to raise awareness and funds to help those going through life hardships.

These events may include providing a venue, food, entertainment, and giveaways.

Other Events

Spreading Seeds participates in other events such as community events and expos. These events usually entail providing a booth, signage, giveaways and information materials.

Employee Engagement

Have employees bring in something once a week to add to the Spreading Seeds Donation Box. Items can be: canned food, boxed food, clothing, shoes, belts, ties, purses, female or male hygiene items, blankets, scarves, gloves, drinking glasses, etc. If you have it in your home and you are ready to get rid of it, put it in the box for someone else.

Corporate Event Food Donation

If you had an event where you supplied food through a caterer and you would like for the leftover surplus food to be donated, please donate it to us.

Call us at (252) 520-0081 or send us an email at donations@spreadseedswithus.com with the Event Date, Event Name, Caterer Name, Contact Person and Phone Number.

Then please inform the caterer that you will be donating the leftover food to Spreading Seeds and that we will be calling them for a location and pick-up time.
